About

Michele’s Bio:

Often described as engaging and authentic, Michele Cushatt is a speaker and author with whom audiences connect.  Weaving contemporary stories with ancient script, she hangs out in the tension between authentic faith and real life, a place filled with more questions than answers. Michele doesn’t hide the fact that her story is a mix of joy and pain, leaving her tender toward those who likewise find themselves in a less-than-idyllic life.

Michele’s speaking experience includes conferences, retreats, radio interviews, writer’s groups, Bible studies and various other group events.  A freelance writer, her works have appeared in magazines such as Today’s Christian Woman MOPS International, Inc, Hearts At Home, devotionals for Upper Room Ministries, The Quiet Hour and  Devotions, and multiple compilation books including four titles in the Chicken Soup series. Furthermore, she has written various online articles and devotional postings in addition to this blog, including the blog she co-founded titled The Intersection. Committed to mentoring fellow writers, Michele is the Director of the Rocky Mountain Region Words For The Journey Christian Writer’s Guild. Additionally, she is on staff with comedian and author Ken Davis and his Dynamic Communicators Workshops, traveling to conferences across the country as a trainer for those who want to become powerful and effective communicators.

Michele is married to Troy and is the mother of their three boys, ages 13, 17 and 18. She enjoys scuba diving, watching the NFL and MLB, traveling, camping, skiing (snow and water), and reading from a stack of at least 15 books at any given time. She and her family make their home in Colorado.2007-Cozumel-Beach

If you are generous with the hungry and start giving yourselves to the down-and-out, your lives will begin to glow in the darkness, your shadowed lives will be bathed in sunlight. I will always show you where to go. I’ll give you a full life in the emptiest of places. –Isaiah 58:10-11
